Orange Tip

Female Anthocharis cardamines at Merry’s Meadows. I was cock-a-hoop when I took this shot and even though I’ve seen the identical subject from so many other people since, this is still one of my favourites of the year so far. I’m going to get a shot on that bloody calendar next year if it kills me 🙂
